A good landmark for windsurfing is the seven large wind turbines on the piers - three on the west pier and four on the east pier.
To the east and west of the entrance, there are shoals of less than 2 m water depth up to 0.7 nm from the coast. Approximately 2.4 nm east of the entrance, Stavnshoved Reef extends up to 0.7 nm from the coast.
The reef is marked with a north buoy. Once you have passed the shoals and reef, set course to a point approx. 0.1 nm N of the entrance, after which the entrance can be entered heading due S (180°).
The piers provide good protection in bad weather.
The marina has 250 berths in the two innermost western basins. Berths marked with a green sign may be used by guest sailors.
Basins
The inner basin is approximately 3 m deep at daily water level. There are four floating bridges with stern piles and three fixed bridges for mooring longships.
The promenade bridge is exclusively reserved for guest sailors over 12 m. The floating bridgeheads are also reserved for guest sailors.
The small pool has fixed bridges with stern piles and mooring options alongside. The depth is max. 2.5 m in daily water. The basin is reserved for large boats with a maximum draught of 2.0-2.2 m.
Spaces marked with a green sign may be used by guest sailors. The outer western basin has a maximum depth of 2.5 meters and is reserved for large boats with a maximum draught of 2-2.2 meters. There are 2 berths between 6 and 8 meters in width and the outer pole is 25 meters out.
The large pool on the east side is reserved for commercial fishing. The depth is approximately 5 m in daily water.
Boaters who are too large to moor in the marina can moor in the eastern basin with permission from the harbor master.
