At Bønnerup Harbour, children can let their imaginations run wild in the playground with swings, climbing frame and sandpit - while adults enjoy a break at the benches and tables. Just a few steps away is the wide, sandy beach with shallow water, perfect for playing, swimming and relaxing for the whole family.
Playground at Vestre Mole
South of Vestre Mole you'll find a large and well-equipped playground run by Bønnerup Strand Bådelaug.
Children can swing on the swings, climb the play tower, climb on the climbing frame or play in the sandpit, while adults can relax at the benches and tables. An ideal place for cozy breaks in the middle of the harbor life.
Crab hunting for kids
Kids love life at the harbor - and one of the most fun activities is crab hunting. The spot behind the promenade bridge is the perfect place to hunt crabs in the summer.
With a simple string, a clamp and some bait, the whole family can have hours of fun along the piers. Remember to treat the crabs gently and release them when you're done catching.
Crabbing rods, nets, life jackets and buckets are available in the locker on the promenade bridge so you can easily get started on your adventure!
Beaches
The beautiful sandy beach at Bønnerup is ideal for families with children. There's shallow water, soft sand and plenty of space to swim, build sandcastles and enjoy the sunshine. Perfect for a relaxing day out where the whole family can join in.
